Design is a way of life, a point of view. It involves the whole complex of visual communications: talent, creative ability, manual skill, and technical knowledge. Aesthetics and economics, technology and psychology are intrinsically related to the process. – Paul Rand
Hi! I’m Corry. I love technology, design and all things creative. I can recall being so curious about web and graphic design in the 90’s. During that time I was a performing hiphop artist and life was all about artistic expression. I began teaching myself how to use photoshop out of sheer necessity. My rap group needed artwork for an album cover. So I dug in.
At some point I ended up attending DeVry. Because there was no available web and graphic design degrees offered at the time, I went into electronics and computer technology. All the while, I honing my web and graphic design skills. Eventually entering into a daytime career of Information Technology at an international law firm, I was approached by an attorney to design his website. And so I did.
Since then, I’ve designed websites, logos, flyers and album covers for many clients and projects as diverse as record companies and individuals to CPA accounting firms and Independent Telecommunications companies.
Over the years I’ve resided at a very eclectic creative and technological place where music, design and technology all coexist. Because of it I was uniquely positioned to judge at 2011’s mobile hack days competition (a sort of American Idol-esque application developer competition with app dev, graphic design and business components).
